The History of Rogue Squadron
Released February 2023
A tale of game design, rough developments and business, this is a documentary overview of the Star Wars: Rogue Squadron series of video games.
Starting with it's roots in the films before moving throughout the histories of LucasArts and Factor 5, as well as various consoles such as the Nintendo 64 and the Nintendo GameCube.
After analyzing the games in the series, we take a dive into what happened afterwards and why we haven't seen the Rogues much since.
The History and Tragedy of the Nintendo GameCube
Released August 2018
A documentary looking at the development, release, and decline of the Nintendo GameCube. There is some overlap between this and the Rogue Squadron video, but this focuses more on Nintendo's attempts to rectify the issues with their past console, the Nintendo 64, only to fall to a similar state of hubris. This is a story of pride, punishment, and a very good console with a very solid library.
Note: This video was done before Luna started transitioning so expect a more masculine voice in this one.
Why Pac-Man World Works
Released September 2022
An analytical editorial piece looking into the game design of Pac-Man World and how its various versions compare. This video came out shortly after Pac-Man World Repac released on modern consoles.
This explores the original PlayStation game, the rather infamous GameBoy Advance port, and the more recent remake.
